Raised with Love and Purpose

Our Whippet puppies are raised in our home, where they are cared for underfoot and exposed to various people, dogs, and surroundings. To ensure they are well-socialized and prepared for family life, we provide:

  • Car rides: Crated for safety, including trips to the vet for health checks and vaccinations.
  • Outdoor enrichment: Activities such as chew toys, obstacles, and play equipment to promote physical and mental development.
  • Living room playtime: Supervised sessions with exposure to loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms, using YouTube audio for gradual desensitization.

All of our puppies are raised on the Puppy Culture program, a comprehensive system for raising well-rounded and confident dogs.

Current Whippet Puppy Available: –

Black with White Trim Male whippet puppy that was born on March 29th, 2025. His siblings just went home this week and he remains behind as his deposit was moved to another litter based on personal injury of owner.

He is an adventurous loving little boy that enjoys his playtime, exercise, and immense cuddles.

Crate training was started at 5 weeks old when puppies started sleeping in crates without doors together. He will graduate to his own doored crate this week for short periods to continue the crate training. We will begin leash training this week, and he is currently going outside to potty during the day with his mom. I can say that potty training is started but not yet perfected. He currently has 1 testicle (this is normal for 9.5 weeks old), and it may drop or not. He is sold to a sport and /or companion home on paid limited registration, Paid AKC registration, and his normal go home puppy bag as listed below in “what to expect with your whippet puppy”. He is not a return, just hasn’t found his furever home yet.

He is an absolute joy. I recommend to a home with someone that has experience with dogs, minimal is okay. He has the personality that will need someone that will be his boss, not his best buddy friend, as he is outgoing.

How to Join the Clarriott Whippets Waitlist

We invite you to reach out to join our waiting list for upcoming litters. Please note:

  • Puppies are matched to homes based on their individual personalities using a puppy personality test to ensure the best fit for both the puppy and the family.
  • If your request for a specific temperament cannot be met in the current litter (e.g., a calm snuggler versus a high-energy puppy), you may need to wait for a future litter.
  • Occasionally, puppies may be held back for evaluation as potential show prospects. If not selected, these puppies are offered to families and come with added training such as crate, leash, and potty training.

Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a puppy from the current litter but secures your priority placement based on deposits received. You will be notified once puppies are available, including details such as litter size, sex, and color, and invited to fill out your questionnaire for matching.

Deposit Policy

Deposits should only be sent after contacting Clarriott Whippets and receiving confirmation from Clarriott Whippets that it’s good to move forward. If circumstances prevent you from taking a puppy at the time, deposits are refundable or transferable to a future litter. Please read our pricing policy.

Commitment to Responsible Placement

All puppies come with a contract, which includes:

  • Limited AKC registration and a spay/neuter agreement (unless otherwise arranged in advance). eg show puppy.
  • A clause ensuring that if, for any reason, you cannot keep your Whippet, they must be returned to Clarriott Whippets for evaluation and rehoming. This ensures that all our Whippets are placed in the best possible homes. (some exceptions apply such as family, but we must be notified and approve moving forward with the placement.

What to Expect with Your Whippet Puppy

When you pick up your puppy, you’ll receive a Puppy Pack that includes:

  • Registration papers (emailed and mailed from AKC).
  • A martingale collar and leash.
  • A plush toy shared with littermates.
  • A receiving blanket with mom’s scent.
  • A small bag of food (enough for 2–3 days).
  • Signed contract copies.
  • Contact information for ongoing support.
  • Whippet Manual
  • Vet visit records and vaccination schedules.

Preparing for Pickup

When picking up your Whippet puppy, bring:

  • A travel crate for safety.
  • Paper towels for any accidents.
  • A bowl for food/water if traveling long distances.
  • Towels for crate lining in case of messes.
