At Clarriott Whippets, our breeding dogs are carefully selected for health, temperament, and conformation. As an AKC Whippet breeder based in Michigan, we are proud to work with exceptional bloodlines that produce well-balanced, beautiful companions for families across the United States.

Our AKC Whippet Breeding Program

Each of our Whippets is raised in our home as part of our family—not in a kennel. We prioritize not only breed standards and structure, but also temperament and adaptability, ensuring our puppies are confident, affectionate, and ready for real-life environments.

Knight – GCHB K-Bars Albelarm Knight at Clarriott

Foundation Stud | AKC Grand Champion Bronze

Knight is a GCHB (Grand Champion Bronze) AKC Whippet and a cornerstone of our breeding program. With over 125 AKC points and multiple group placements, he exemplifies the breed standard in both structure and performance.

He is known for his calm, affectionate temperament and strong connection with people, bringing both confidence and balance to our program as a foundation stud.

Mila – GCH Muji Of Gentle Mind

Future Dam | AKC Grand Champion

Mila is an AKC Grand Champion Whippet imported from Germany and an integral part of our breeding program. With her strong, balanced structure and unique presence, she brings both substance and elegance to the breed.

Slightly shorter and more compact than the typical Whippet, Mila is full of affection and thrives on close connection, while maintaining an active and playful nature. She consistently produces beautiful, well-balanced puppies with exceptional temperament.

Athena “Tina” – CH Sovereign Silver Lining at Clarriott

Foundation Dam | AKC Champion

Tina is an AKC Champion Whippet and a foundation bitch at Clarriott Whippets, known for her elegant structure and exceptional maternal instincts. With a beautiful S-curve and soft, refined coat, she brings both grace and balance to our breeding program.

Deeply affectionate yet independent, Tina has a loving, steady temperament and is a devoted mother. While she preferred life outside of the show ring, she has consistently produced beautiful, well-structured puppies with wonderful temperaments.

Tempe – GCH Texano Unleash The Tempest

Future Dam | AKC Grand Champion

Brindle Show Whippet Tempe is an AKC Grand Champion Whippet imported from Mexico, with strong European influence through her Italian lineage. Currently active in the show ring with nearly 50 points, she brings both presence and performance to our program.

Exceptionally confident, outgoing, and full of personality, Tempe is a bold and affectionate Whippet who naturally takes the lead. Her structure, attitude, and charisma make her an exciting addition to our future breeding plans, and we anticipate truly stunning litters from her.

Prin – Clarriott’s Balmoral Princess

She began her show career with promise, but we chose not to continue, as we do not place unnecessary stress on our dogs if they are not comfortable in the show ring. Her temperament and well-being always come first.

Sweet, quiet, and affectionate, Prin is a softer, more easygoing personality who prefers connection over control. We look forward to evaluating her first litter and the qualities she contributes moving forward.

Vader – CH Texano I’m Your Father

Proven Stud | Co-Owned AKC Champion

Vader is an AKC Champion Whippet imported from Mexico and a proven stud in our breeding program. He has already produced high-quality puppies with excellent conformation, reflecting the strength and consistency of his lineage.

Confident and independent in nature, Vader brings both presence and balance to our program. Through a trusted co-ownership and handling partnership, he continues to contribute to thoughtfully planned litters that complement and strengthen our bloodlines.

Our First Whippets

These were our first Whippets and remain an important part of our journey. While they are not part of our breeding program, they are lifelong members of our family and helped shape the foundation of Clarriott Whippets.

Lucy

Lucy was our very first Whippet and the beginning of everything at Clarriott Whippets. Imported from Canada, she brought not only quality but a deep love for the breed that shaped our path forward.

Affectionate and devoted, Lucy produced four lovely litters before retiring to a well-earned life of comfort—now happily spending her days relaxing on the couch and simply being loved, and still the “queen” of the house.

Storm

Storm was our first blue Whippet and quickly became a deeply devoted part of our family. Affectionate and people-oriented, he is a true companion who would do anything for his person, with a gentle nature that extends to everyone he meets.

He sired five litters before retiring at six years old and now enjoys a more relaxed life at home, while still remaining an important part of our program’s foundation.
