At Clarriott Whippets, we produce a limited number of litters each year. Our focus is not volume—it’s raising healthy, well-balanced Whippets and placing them in the right homes for life.

🐾 A Trusted Whippet Breeder Serving the United States
Clarriott Whippets is based in Michigan and serves families across the United States.
Our dogs come from carefully selected bloodlines, many holding AKC Champion or Grand Champion titles. This helps ensure each puppy has strong structure, stable temperament, and the qualities that make Whippets such exceptional companions. All of our parent dogs are health tested for : Heart (ECHO), EYES (CERF), and Hearing (BAER).
🐾 How Our Whippet Puppies Are Raised
Our puppies are raised in our home—not in a kennel.
They are part of daily life and exposed to real environments from the start.
That includes:
- car rides (crated safely)
- vet visits and handling
- exposure to household sounds
- structured play and enrichment
We also follow the Puppy Culture program, helping develop confident, well-adjusted puppies.
🐾 How Our Waitlist Works
Because we produce a limited number of puppies, we operate from a waitlist.
Deposits are accepted in the order received, but placement is based on more than timing alone.
Each puppy is evaluated for temperament, and we work to match them with the home that best fits their personality and lifestyle.
This means:
- you may be offered a puppy that differs in sex or color
- if it’s not the right fit, you can wait for a future litter
- your deposit can be transferred forward

🐾 Occasionally Available Puppies
From time to time, we may have:
- a puppy held back for evaluation
- a puppy whose placement changes
These puppies may come with:
- additional training
- crate training
- leash introduction
- early house training
When available, they are offered to families on our list first. If they are here for extended time, you may see them on our Trained Available Puppies/Dogs page.
🐾 Deposit Policy
Deposits are only accepted after initial contact and confirmation that it is the right time to move forward.
If your timing changes:
- deposits are transferable
- or refundable depending on the situation

🐾 What Comes With Your Puppy
Each puppy goes home with a carefully prepared starter pack:
- AKC registration paperwork (limited registration with AKC, unless showing)
- martingale collar and leash
- toy with litter scent
- blanket with mother’s scent
- starter food supply
- signed contract
- vaccination and vet records
- Whippet care materials
We also provide ongoing support—you’re not on your own after pickup. We are here for the life of your dog and have a bring-back policy if you can’t keep it.
🐾 Preparing for Pickup
When bringing your puppy home, we recommend:
- a secure travel crate
- towels or bedding
- paper towels (just in case) plastic grocery bag to place soiled paper towels
- water and a small bowl for longer trips
Safety during travel is extremely important.

Every puppy is placed with care and intention.
All placements include:
- a contract
- limited AKC registration (unless otherwise arranged)
- a return policy requiring the dog to come back to us if needed
This ensures every Whippet we produce is always protected.
